COURTNEY G. SCIME is
a 1990 graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned
Bachelor of Arts degrees in economics and psychology, and a 1993
graduate of the University of Notre Dame School of Law, where
she was the Executive Note Editor for the Notre Dame Law Review.
While in law school Courtney interned with the U.S. Attorney's
Office for Western New York. After her first summer as an
intern, she was selected to be the lead law clerk. Her time
spent with the U.S. Attorney's Office exposed her to the
prosecutorial side of criminal law. Upon graduation, Courtney
returned to Buffalo, was admitted to the New York State Bar in
1994 and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New
York in 1995 and joined the Law Offices of Eugene C. Tenney.
Since then Courtney has focused her practice exclusively on
assisting victims of personal injury accidents and medical
malpractice. Courtney is a strong advocate for her clients. She
was recognized for her work in the field of personal injury
litigation when she was selected as a 2005 recipient of the
Business First "Who's Who in the Law" award which honors
commitment, determination and vision in the legal profession.
